Mimosa Pudica - Sensitive plant - Dormilona Mimosa pudica or Sensitive Plant is a native of the American tropics.
It is a fun plant for kids to grow them. The leaves are sensitive fold up when touched. At night, the leaves will also fold and bend in movements known as nyctonastic movements which is their reaction to the absence of light.
