Sarchi de Valverde Vega Originally an agricultural town growing coffee and sugar cane.
Because of its artisans developed the tradition and techniques to paint the typical ox-carts that used to carry the coffee crop, it has become a tourist resort where all sorts of crafts, furniture, and painted ox-carts of all sizes can be purchased.
