Cataratas de Cortes

This beautiful waterfall is located in the Bagaces region of Guanacaste. This spot is very popular among the local Guanacaste people, but not very well known as a tourist spot.
The waterfall has a beautiful beach at its base, and a natural and safe pool for swimming. You can easily climb to the top of the waterfall and appreciate a great view of the beach and the river.
This spot makes a drastic contrast with the sorrounding dry forests typical of the Bagaces plains in Guanacaste.
